Group Facilitation- "The Coaching Approach":

The dynamics of a group create a unique energy, with an entity in itself. It is a living system with its own physical form, its own personality, its own potential and its own limitations. The skills to facilitate the flow & ebb of groups are diverse and complex. Using a distinctive experiential model of adult learning you will gain skills in;

  • Group development
  • Learning styles
  • Facilitation skills
  • Member needs
  • Using powerful questions in groups
  • Practical Experience

Life Skills Coach Training:
Life Skills Coach Training is an educational and experiential course, focusing on Life Skills as a model of adult education. Life Skills learning provides life management and problem solving techniques through the process of group dynamics and skill building for change enhancement in five area’s of one’s life: Self, Family, Community, Job, and Leisure.

“Michael & Susan were amazing facilitators! They made the atmosphere very comfortable for learning and being able to share amongst the group members. Being able to go through the process, and understand the theory was a great experience. I would love to take Level 2 of the Life Skills Coaching Training.” WOTCH Agency

Level One:
The participant will become familiar with Life Skills theory, content, and methodology in order to provide personal and professional development to one-self and encouragement and training to others.

This course is a must for anyone motivated to grow and/or are working with people and particularly for those coaching one-to-one, or facilitating groups,

Level Two:
The participant will expand their understanding and theory of Life Skills development. This level is focused on group needs assessment based on inclusion, affection, and control. The key to experiential learning is also explored further, tying predominant learning styles, the learning cycle and the experiential learning models together.

The practicum’s will encourage the coaches to practice completing the experiential cycle during their presentations. In Level Two, we will also explore the future of individual Life Skills careers. This is expanded to identify areas in their community that could benefit from Life Skills training.
